The ZFL-type conical valve consists of several components, including a buried adjusting pipe, a valve body, a sleeve, an electric actuator, a lead screw, and connecting rods. Its structure is of the outer-sleeve type: the valve body is fixed, and the valve operates via the extension and retraction movement of a lead screw-nut assembly, which drives the outer sleeve to move up and down, thereby achieving the opening and closing of the valve.
This valve features a simple structure, lightweight design, compact layout, flexible operation, convenient maintenance, reliable performance, and low actuation force.
When discharging, this valve produces a flared water jet that spreads and entrains air in the air, achieving excellent energy dissipation. As a result, energy dissipation measures are generally not required. If the valve is configured for submerged outflow, simple energy dissipation measures can also be implemented downstream on the side. It is widely used in hydraulic, hydroelectric, and reservoir projects.
