The laminated elastic butterfly valve seal can withstand high temperatures up to 538℃. It features a sandwich assembly consisting of one to six flexible graphite plates sandwiched between thin stainless steel rings. The flexible graphite sealing rings are not bonded to the stainless steel rings with adhesives, enabling them to endure even higher temperatures.

Double-acting triple-eccentric hard-sealed butterfly valve
Scope of application
Nominal diameter: DN50~400mm
Nominal pressure: PN 2.5–4.0 MPa
Temperature range: <425℃
Connection methods: Flange-type, lug-type, clamp-type, and butt-welded type.
Applicable media: Fresh water, seawater, sewage, air, steam, food, pharmaceuticals, oils, various types of oil, acids, alkalis, salts, and other mildly corrosive media.
Three-eccentricity principle
· Eccentricity 1: The valve stem is located behind the valve seat axis, enabling the seal to make fully tight contact around the entire valve seat.
· Eccentricity 2: The centerline of the valve stem is offset from the centerlines of both the pipeline and the valve, thereby avoiding interference during valve opening and closing.
· Eccentricity 3: The axis of the valve seat cone is offset from the centerline of the valve stem. This design eliminates friction during both closing and opening operations and ensures a uniform, consistent compression seal around the entire valve seat.

During the closing phase, the torque generates a seating force that acts uniformly and consistently around the entire circumference. The resilient seal flexes and remains highly responsive, maintaining the valve seat’s shape. The compressive force is evenly distributed along the perimeter, enabling the valve to achieve tight bidirectional closure. The seal’s elasticity allows the valve body and the disc to either make contact or expand freely, thereby eliminating the risk of blockage caused by temperature fluctuations. This design is capable of self-adjusting alignment.
