Elastic Seat Gate Valve Sectional View

For a long time, conventional gate valves commonly used in the market have generally suffered from leakage or rusting. Our factory has introduced advanced European technologies for rubber and valve manufacturing to produce resilient-seated gate valves that effectively overcome the shortcomings of conventional gate valves, such as poor sealing performance, elastic fatigue, rubber aging, and rusting. Resilient-seated gate valves achieve excellent sealing by leveraging the slight elastic deformation of the resilient valve disc, which provides compensatory action. These valves boast remarkable advantages including light operation when opening, reliable sealing, excellent elastic memory, and an extended service life. They can be widely used as regulating and shut-off devices on fluid pipelines in applications ranging from tap water and wastewater systems to construction, petroleum, chemical industry, instrumentation, pharmaceuticals, light textiles, power generation, shipbuilding, metallurgy, and energy systems.

    Product Overview

For a long time, conventional gate valves commonly used in the market have generally suffered from leakage or rusting. Our factory has introduced advanced European technologies for rubber and valve manufacturing to produce resilient-seated gate valves that effectively overcome the shortcomings of conventional gate valves, such as poor sealing performance, elastic fatigue, rubber aging, and rusting. Resilient-seated gate valves leverage the slight elastic deformation of their flexible valve members to achieve excellent sealing performance. These valves boast notable advantages including light operation when opening, reliable sealing, excellent elastic memory, and an extended service life.

    Product Features

    ·Flat-seat valve:

Traditional gate valves often become clogged with foreign objects—such as stones, wood chips, cement, paper scraps, and other debris—that accumulate in the recess at the bottom of the valve after the pipe has been flushed with water. This can easily lead to the valve failing to close tightly, resulting in leaks. In contrast, the bottom of the soft-sealed gate valve features a flat design identical to that of the water pipe, making it less prone to debris accumulation and ensuring smooth, unobstructed fluid flow.

    ·   Overall rubber coating:

The valve disc is entirely coated—both internally and externally—with high-quality rubber. The rubber vulcanization technology ensures that the vulcanized valve disc maintains precise geometric dimensions. Moreover, the rubber is securely bonded to the ductile iron gate plate, making it resistant to detachment and endowed with excellent elastic memory.

    · Corrosion-resistant:

The valve body features a high-temperature epoxy coating that prevents corrosion and rusting, making it suitable for sewage systems.

    ·   Not easily broken:

In the past, conventional cast iron gate valves often suffered from fractures caused by impacts, collisions, or overlapping with external objects. However, thanks to the adoption of ductile iron in this valve, such incidents have been significantly reduced.

    .  Three-O-ring seal:

Thanks to the valve stem’s sealing design featuring three “O”-ring seals, friction resistance during operation is reduced, significantly minimizing water leakage. Moreover, the seals can be replaced without interrupting the water supply, allowing for maintenance work to be carried out without shutting off the flow.

    · Helps with drinking:

Since the valve body interior is coated with non-toxic epoxy resin and both the inner and outer surfaces of the gate are completely covered with rubber, there will be no rust or corrosion, making it suitable for drinking directly.

    · Precision-cast valve body:

The valve body is manufactured using precision casting, and its exact geometric dimensions ensure that the valve achieves airtight sealing without any further machining inside the valve body.

    ·   Lightweight:

This valve is made of ductile iron casting, reducing its weight by approximately 20% to 30% compared to conventional gate valves, and is easy to install and maintain.
