Overview:
The 100C angular pneumatic sludge discharge valve is suitable for water treatment plants and is used to discharge sludge and wastewater from settling tanks. This valve features an angular design, with a partition dividing the internal cavity into two sections: a control chamber and a flow passage. The control chamber is further divided into upper and lower sub-chambers by a diaphragm. The valve seat has a flat-bottom structure, and its sealing surface is coated with ceramic, offering exceptional wear resistance and corrosion resistance. Additionally, this design effectively prevents the accumulation of debris and ensures long-term reliable operation.
The top of the valve cover and the side of the valve body are equipped with threaded holes. The pressure source enters and exits the upper and lower control chambers via control lines, respectively. The opening or closing of the sludge discharge valve is controlled by regulating the pressures in the upper and lower chambers through solenoid valves. In the event of an unexpected loss of the control air supply, the sludge discharge valve can remain closed under the pressure of the incoming water. (The external pressure control source is an air supply.)

Explanation of the Air Source Control Principle
1. Close the valve
The two 5/2 solenoid valves are conducting: 1.2 is conducting, and 3.4 is conducting.
The pressurized air source enters the upper control chamber at 100°C, while the pressure in the lower control chamber is vented. 100°C closes.
2. Open the valve
The two 5/2 solenoid valves are conducting: 1.4 is conducting, and 2.3 is conducting.
The pressurized air source enters the upper control chamber at 100C, while the pressure in the lower control chamber at 100C is vented. The 100C valve closes. The solenoid valve is equipped with a manual override device, allowing manual control of the sludge discharge valve in the event of power failure.
