The product's primary uses
● Universal valve for urban heating and heat supply Suitable for applications with stringent requirements, such as wastewater treatment and pulp processing.
· Oil and chemical industry-specific valve Suitable for various oil products such as crude oil and heavy oil, as well as corrosive and two-phase mixed media in the chemical industry. Temperature resistance up to 425℃.
· Gas-specific valve: Suitable for the control of gas, natural gas, and liquefied petroleum gas transmission. The product’s structural feature is that the sealing ring is built up by welding a chromium-containing alloy different from that used in conventional valves, ensuring tight sealing and excellent corrosion resistance.
· Slurry-specific valve: This product is suitable for industrial pipeline transportation involving two-phase mixtures—liquid and solid—or for liquid transport where chemical reactions result in crystal precipitation or scaling. The structural features of the product are tailored to meet customers’ specific requirements regarding the medium and temperature. The ball is built up by welding with chromium-molybdenum and vanadium alloys, while the valve seat is built up by welding with chromium-molybdenum alloys, chromium alloys, or stainless steel alloy electrodes, thus satisfying the needs of transporting various slurry media.
· Dedicated valve for coal ash and slag: Suitable for control applications in power plants, alumina processing, hydraulic slag removal systems, or gas-phase conveying pipelines. The product requires excellent wear resistance; the ball is made of a composite bimetallic material with exceptionally high rigidity and outstanding wear resistance. The valve seat is coated with a hardfacing alloy for enhanced wear resistance.
Performance Features
· Leak-free Since the valve body is made by integral casting, the sphere undergoes machining processes that are inspected by advanced computerized measuring instruments, ensuring extremely high machining accuracy. The valve seat features a floating design that automatically maintains the sealing position, enabling the valve to adapt effectively to changes in pressure and temperature. Within the specified pressure and temperature ranges, no leakage will occur.
· Save on installation costs and time. The directly buried welded hemispherical valve can be installed directly underground. Depending on the pipeline’s construction and design requirements, the length of the valve body and the height of the valve stem can be adjusted accordingly. There’s no need to build a tall valve pit—instead, only a small, shallow pit needs to be set up on the ground, significantly reducing construction costs and project time.
· Flexible operation: Due to the eccentric design, as the valve closes, the sphere gradually moves closer to the valve seat until it makes full contact at the closed position. When opening, the sphere immediately disengages from the sealing position, resulting in minimal friction torque during the opening process.
· The sealing surface can achieve self-cleaning. When the sphere leaves the valve seat, the medium can flush away any buildup on the sealing surface. For media that tend to crystallize easily, the sphere can remove these crystallizations during the closing process, achieving a reliable seal and avoiding the drawbacks of other valves that cannot be opened or closed.
· Low flow resistance Due to its straight-through design, fluid resistance is reduced, resulting in high efficiency and energy savings. The eccentric structure ensures that, when the valve is opened, the ball separates from the valve body, allowing for a straight-through flow path that prevents jamming or blockage.
· Long service life: The sphere and valve seat are built up with hard alloy that offers excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance. The eccentric design of the sealing surface enables the spherical surface to automatically compensate for wear, thereby maintaining the valve’s tightness. The valve body material is identical to that of the pipeline, allowing direct welding without causing uneven stress or deformation even in the event of earthquakes or when vehicles pass over the ground. As a result, the valve boasts an exceptionally long service life—exceeding 30 years.
